

Eric Cortes is a director, editor, and colorist.
Eric has served as the Lead Videographer and Digital Media Production Specialist at Edmund Optics. In this role, he managed all aspects of video production. His collaborative efforts with the marketing and communications teams have sharpened his ability to align creative content with EO's brand objectives, enhancing their promotional campaigns, product videos, and internal communications.
Eric's industry experience also includes positions as a Production Assistant on HBO’s "TASK" and Netflix's "The Beast in Me." Additionally, he worked as a Researcher at NFL Films, contributing to popular shows such as "NFL Total Access" and "NFL 100 All-Time Roundtables."
In addition to his work on corporate and television projects, Eric is passionate about directing and producing independent films, music videos, and documentaries. His narrative music short, "I Don’t Wanna See You," has been featured at several festivals, including the Northeast Film Festival and the PFS Philly Film Showcase. His music video for "Misery" has also gained recognition at events like the Mount Vernon Film Festival and the Garden State Film Festival.
With a strong passion for storytelling and an attentive eye for detail, Eric combines technical skill with creative vision in every project he undertakes.
